I need a database driven shopping cart for my web site. Ease of use a major +. Recommendations?

James R. Reed, II asked:

We’re currently looking at and have intentions to purchase a fully hosted solution from Cart32.

We have a finalized web site design/template, all of the necessary bank and merchant accounts, etc. and are ready to get rolling asap.

I’m a web guy but in this particular case, we’re not looking for software to purchase, install and manage on our own servers. We want the complete, idiot-proof package where we can literally plug in our account numbers and immediately start uploading product listings to a backend db that is integrated easily into our web site in terms of display.

The Cart32 solution that we are looking at runs in the ~$70-80/month range.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Contact Versign. They have a division that focuses on web based s/w packages that are either a canned version (use right of the shelf) or one that they give you the hooks and you create your own. It sounds like you want the canned version. It will also come with a security system to prevent hacking into your system. Keeps you and your customers data safe.
