Does anyone know anything about working for Merchant E-solutions?

I am looking for a job, so I posted my resume on all of the major online job boards. I was contacted recently by a company called Merchant E-solutions. This job seems like it is to good to be true. It is work from home, with benefits, no holidays or weekends, and a starting salary that I could only dream of $3900 per month. I do have lots of experience and an Associates degree, but this comes out to like 24 dollars an hour! In the contact emails, I am always assured that I will not pay for anything. They even pay for my phone and internet bill, and pay 457 a week during training time. My only red flag so far, is that they want me to open an account with WELLs FARGO, and you always have to put in about 100 bucks or so in order to open an account. I mean alot of businesses these days prefer to pay you by direct deposit, so it isn’t unusual, but still, it just seems to be to good to be true. Does anyone know if this job offer is legit? I appreciate any information.
Please note, I am not looking for work at home opportunities, I just want information on this one particular company… Merchants e solutions, to know if it is a real offer and not an internet scam. thanks.
This offer is a SCAM!! I have contacted the real recruiter at Merchants e-solutions which is a real company, but they do not offer work from home positions, nor ask you to set up a special bank account for direct deposit. Do not give “Tom Gerrard” ANY of your information. Thanks for all the posts guys, most times when things seem to good to be true… they are!

Hey, I received a similar job offer. It seemed too good to be true. I researched Merchant e-Solutions, but they seem like a reputable company. When I saw your post, it made me want to research a little more. After extensive googling, I came across a foreign forum website. A year ago a different company offered the poster a similar job with the same part time/full time hours pay scale. The way the email is written is eerily close to our emails. I now believe this job is a scam. Merchant e-Solutions is probably legit, but I doubt that, “Tom G*****D, Company Direct Employer, Merchant e-Solutions”, is even affiliated with the company. It seems like a possible scam and I will not be pursuing the job. Thanks for your post.

Hi, I currently work at Merchant e-Solutions. Here is a response from our management team, “PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS A FRAUDULENT PURPORTED RECRUITER NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MERCHANT E-SOLUTIONS. WE ARE TAKING STEPS TO TERMINATE THE EMAIL AND STOP THIS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CREATED BY THE PERSON OR PERSONS BEHIND THIS EMAIL. MERCHANT E-SOLUTIONS DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY OPEN POSITIONS WITH ANY RECRUITER.”

I too received a job offer from Tom Gerrard. He found me on Career Builder. I am so glad I decided to research him. I hope they find him and stop him. Thank you for the heads up
